Research Assistant @ Rice University
I am currently a research assistant at the Department of Statistics, Rice University, where I am supervised by Dr. Meng Li and Dr. Huixia Judy Wang. I previously completed the Master of Statistics at Rice University. I also earned two Bachelor of Science degrees: one in Mathematics from the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, University of North Carolina Wilmington, and one in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics from the Chongqing University of Arts and Sciences.
My research interests lie at the intersection of statistical learning, time series analysis, and biostatistics. I am particularly interested in developing predictive models for healthcare applications using real-world medical data, including electronic health records and physiological time series. I have worked on projects involving the prediction of acute kidney injury, modeling patient survival outcomes, and the statistical analysis of environmental and economic indicators. I am passionate about applying rigorous statistical methods to solve practical problems in biomedical and public health domains.
